Your guide to fly fishing the Lower Sacramento & Trinity Rivers

The Lower Sacramento River, an incredible blue ribbon trout water, starts in downtown Redding and fishes well down to Red Bluff. This tailwater, with controlled and cold flows has big, tough, wild rainbows that feed year round. Combined with the areas mild climate, the river also fishes well year round. The upper stretches flow through the city of Redding,  underneath the famous Sundial Bridge, on down through neighborhoods. The lower reaches become more remote where houses are replaced with large oaks. We access the river with drift boats with wading opportunities available.

The Trinity River offers an incredible steelhead experience. We concentrate on swinging flies with two-handed Spey rods fishing out of a raft. If new to the art of Spey fishing, we will help you improve your technique.
